The Phoenix Academy is the place to learn how to play our game or to improve your existing game. It is open to total beginners and to boys/girls from any school or club.

We have a fantastic panel of experienced coaches who through these one hour weekly sessions will help your boy/girl to develop their game. (see below for more details on the Academy)

HOW DOES OUR PHOENIX ACADEMY WORK?

AND HOW DO I REGISTER?

The Phoenix Academy comprises of a number of weekly one-hour coached sessions that are run at a range of facilities (in Lisburn, Belfast and Carryduff.)

The Academy runs on a term by term basis:

Term 1: September to December

Term 2 : January to Easter

Term 3 : Easter to June.

Approx. 300-350 boys and girls (aged 5-17) take part each term across our nine separate sessions. These ballers learn the basic skills and teamplay needed to play our game.

ALL experience levels are catered for - from total beginners up to intermediate level and beyond.

Once players reach a certain standard of play then they will be considered for our competitive teams who play in the Northern Ireland league system.

When we are mid-term you DON'T have to wait for the next term to join - you can join the Academy at ANY time (just get in touch with us over our social channels or via email and will get your boy or girl playing). If you are joining DURING the term contact us to get the cost of the Academy for your child up to the end of term.

See some action from our Phoenix Academy sessions at Lisburn Racquets Club on Saturdays - which start with the youngest students at 9am - and the older students as the morning goes on. These are one-hour coached sessions - open to all levels of basketball skill and experience (from beginners upwards).
